Hello, I'm Boetebessie.
Firstly, I am not Afrikaans - I just thought Boetebessie was an hilarious name.
I'm brainy, breasty, funny, flaky, pretty, open-minded, bright, articulate, and in it for the long haul...
I have a brain and I love to absorb new ideas and ways of being. I can hold my own in conversations and offer a lively and stimulating debate without being argumentative.
I am spiritually aware and have a keen interest in metaphysics and transpersonal psychology particularly mindfulness. I have a counselling practice that includes energy psychology. I am also a techno-slut (let it never be said that you were not warned!) I also teach English as a second language.
I love animals and children and am excellent with them. My toy dog is the apple of my eye and sleeps in the bed with me. It wouldn't be wise to ask me to choose between you and him. He needs me more.
I am seeking a man of immodest means (and for those less eloquent, may I articulate that this would be financial means, with a Barney attitude that "caring is sharing") with an equally immodest psyche to keep my pseudo-intellectual habit going. I am independent and un-clingy so I would be happy for you to spend time playing sport or with your your friends. If fact, this would be a necessity as I enjoy my own time.
I could use many words to describe my temperament, but I would be different with everyone - so you'd need to meet me or chat online with me to get a sense of me. I will always endeavour to treat people with dignity and integrity

About Her Ideal Match
I am looking for an integritous relationship with someone who is not a pauper financially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and existentially. If you are a fat cat with a PhD in the social sciences, are excellent to ogle at and double as a flake - you're in! If not, contact me anyway.
I want a relationship with prospects of sharing and caring for one another, while maintaining individual autonomy - i.e. a healthy interdependence over time. I also want to (need to ) be looked after financially (my love language) and you will have your needs (your love language) met in a mindful, conscious and practical way.
I like gentle and soulful types - those who are able to consider themselves and be with themselves (don't get jumpy when they have an hour to themselves) and can also be with me without having to engage with me each minute that we are together.
A good sense of humour is a must as when the shit hits the fan we need to be able to laugh at it. There is also no forgiveness for kicking the catties when your shit hits the fan.
A normative IQ would be nice too so we can chat about things intelligent and connect. The capacity to spell is a plus and the ability to use an apostrophe in the correct place holds a lot of clout for me...
